Who we are.
We are a coalition of unions affiliated with Communications Workers of America (CWA), a national union that represents over 100,000 public workers across the nation.
Collectively known as CWA 7799, we’re comprised of seven unions:
Boulder County Employees Union all non-managerial, non-executive, and non-confidential workers of the following offices/teams (including all temporary and seasonal workers who have worked more than 90 days in the preceding 365-day period): Assessor’s Office, Clerk & Recorder’s Office, Commissioners & Chief of Staff, Community Planning & Permitting, Community Services, Coroner’s Office, County Administrator, Housing & Human Services, Information Technology, Office of Financial Management, Office of Racial Equity, Office of the County Administrator, Parks & Open Spaces, Public Health, Public Works, Sustainability, Climate Resilience, Treasurer’s Office, Boulder County Housing Authority, and Boulder County Public Health
Defenders Union of Colorado for for all non-management employees of the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender
Denver Health Workers United for healthcare workers and frontline employees of Denver Health.
Denver Public Library Workers Unitedfor all employees of Denver Public Library.

UCHealth Workers United for healthcare workers and frontline employees of UCHealth.
United Campus Workers Colorado for workers within the University of Colorado and Colorado State University system, including part-time and full-time university staff, administrative professionals, faculty, and graduate and undergraduate workers.
